Marshall Dutton, Chief Operating Officer, Critical Care Paramedic and Instructor
Marshall Dutton is a licensed Critical Care Paramedic with over 23 years of experience in the healthcare field. His medical career began in 2000 at Tennessee Technological University, where he graduated from the Paramedic Program in 2003.
Marshall is a proud U.S. Army veteran, having served as an Infantryman, Combat Medic, and U.S. Army Flight Medic. He completed numerous deployments, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure and combat medical environments.
In 2012, Marshall completed the Critical Care Paramedic Course to further enhance his clinical expertise. He is also a credentialed instructor in, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), CPR and First Aid
With a strong foundation in both civilian and military medicine, Marshall brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and hands-on experience to his role at Valor Medical.

Mike Wall, Business Accounts Officer, Critical Care Paramedic and Instructor
Michael Wall was born and raised in Robbinsville, North Carolina, where he graduated from Robbinsville High School in 1985. His passion for emergency medicine began at the age of 15 when he joined his hometown’s volunteer fire department and rescue squad. During his senior year, he attended night courses at Tri-County Community College in Murphy, North Carolina, earning his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
Following his initial licensure, Michael advanced his training to become a licensed Paramedic and earned a diploma in Basic Law Enforcement. In 1987, he relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, where he began his professional career with Buncombe County EMS. Four years later, in 1991, he joined the U.S. Naval Reserve as a Hospital Corpsman. In 1993, he transferred to the United States Marine Corps, 3rd Battalion, 24th Marines, and completed Field Medical Service School at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
In 1995, Michael was selected to help establish Buncombe County EMS’s Special Operations Charter Team, which encompassed SWAT medical support, dive rescue, and search and rescue operations. He later advanced to the position of Supervisor and Field Training Officer, overseeing 12 ambulances and 25 personnel within the EMS system.
Michael enlisted in the Georgia National Guard in 1998, joining the 148th Medical Company (Air Ambulance) as a Flight Medic. In 2000, he earned his Critical Care Paramedic certification and accepted a position with Georgia Baptist LifeFlight in Atlanta as a civilian Paramedic. That same year, he transferred to the Tennessee National Guard, joining Detachment 1, 146th Medical Company (Air Ambulance). In 2002, he began serving as a Flight Paramedic with Emory Flight.
In 2005, Michael relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where he accepted a position as a Military Technician and Flight Engineer Instructor at the Army Aviation Support Facility #1 in Smyrna, Tennessee. Throughout his distinguished military career, Michael participated in numerous real-world MEDEVAC missions and deployed five times to countries including Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He also supported humanitarian operations such as the “New Horizons” mission in Peru and participated in Hurricane Katrina evacuation and rescue efforts.
Michael’s military decorations include, but are not limited to, two Air Medals, the Meritorious Service Medal, Master Crew Member Wings, the Fleet Marine Force Badge, the Expert Field Medical Badge, and the Combat Medic Badge. He retired from active duty in July 2025 after 32 years of honorable service.
Today, Michael continues to serve his community as a Critical Care Paramedic with Williamson County EMS, a Reserve Officer with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department, and a Master Driver.

Justin Bartlett, EMT-B, Instructor
With over 17 years in law enforcement, he has excelled in corrections, training, and special operations, demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication to public safety. Justin’s commitment to service is further highlighted by his 4 years in the military, where he completed multiple deployments, earning valuable operational experience.
A certified Basic EMT, Justin is also a credentialed instructor for both American Heart Association (AHA) and National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) courses. His diverse skill set and unwavering passion for education enable him to empower others with vital knowledge in healthcare, emergency response, and public safety. -

Johnathan Price, AEMT, Instructor
Johnathan Price is as an Advanced EMT and instructor with Valor Medical Group, combining years of field experience with a strong focus on education and technology. He provides high-quality emergency medical care and contributes to AHA and NAEMT programs, including BLS, Heartsaver, PEARS, PHTLS, and TECC.
In addition to his role at Valor, Johnathan works full-time with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, providing advanced pediatric transport and emergency care. He also supports Valor’s IT and marketing operations, managing the group’s website and digital outreach. Dedicated to professionalism, preparedness, and community service, Johnathan embodies Valor’s mission to elevate emergency care standards across Tennessee.

Lyndsey McConnell, Paramedic, Instructor
Lyndsey McConnell is a seasoned healthcare professional with over a decade of diverse medical experience. She spent 9 years in the United States Army as a Combat Medic and Communications Specialist, including a 15-month tour in Iraq as a medic on a Personal Security Detail for a 2-star general and his supporting staff. Transitioning to civilian healthcare, she has worked in doctor's offices, in the operating room as an anesthesia technician, and a technician in a busy emergency room. For the past several years, she has dedicated her skills to Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and currently serves as a paramedic for a ground ambulance service. A graduate of the University of South Florida, she is also passionate about instructing and educating others in the medical field. Lyndsey is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in both routine and critical situations.

Zack Crandall, Paramedic, Flight Medic & Instructor
Zack Crandall is an experienced Paramedic, Flight Medic, and Instructor with over 14 years of service in prehospital emergency care. His career began on the ambulance, where he built a strong foundation in emergency response, trauma care, and critical patient transport.
A U.S. Army veteran, Zack served eight years in the Infantry, where he developed a deep commitment to discipline, leadership, and mission-focused care. Following his military service, he worked in private security and went on to serve as a SWAT Medic, providing medical support in high-risk tactical environments.
Zack brings a diverse skill set and real-world experience to every role, combining clinical expertise with tactical readiness. His dedication to training and operational excellence makes him a valued asset in both the classroom and the field.

Donna Dutton, BSN, RN, CCRN, CEN and Instructor
Critical Care Registered Nurse & Emergency Department Clinical EducatorDonna Dutton is a highly experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse and Emergency Department Clinical Educator with over 30 years of dedicated service in the field of nursing. Since earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tennessee Technological University in 1993, Donna has served at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, where she has built a distinguished career.
Her clinical background spans a wide range of specialties, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Cardiac Cath Lab, and the GI Lab. Donna brings not only deep clinical knowledge but also a strong passion for education.
As a certified instructor, she teaches multiple life-saving courses including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC).
Donna’s commitment to excellence and mentorship continues to impact both patient outcomes and the professional growth of healthcare providers in emergency and critical care settings.

Erica Delk, BSN, RN and Instructor
Erica Delk is a BSN-RN graduate of Tennessee Tech University's Whitson-Hester School of Nursing and an Emergency Room Nurse at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. With experience in patient care in the surgery unit and then as a nurse in the ER, Erica has built her career around being there for patients in the face of difficult situations. Her favorite medical skill is starting Ultrasound IV's and blood draws.
Erica has been precepting new nurses and experienced nurses in the ER and finds a passion in teaching others new things and seeing the glow of growth in expanding your knowledge.
When she is not on the clock as an RN, she's always on the go! You can find Erica in a stadium seat cheering on her husband's football team, hosting events in her home for her Young Ladies' Bible Marking class, or heading to McMinnville, TN to help her dad on the family cattle farm.
